Global Mission

Luck matters

My treatment is right near me, and I can access it any time. But for unluckier kids like me across the world, it's a different story.

Sometimes where you live interferes with what you can get

In rural areas, if you have a bleeding disorder, you might not be able to find treatment easily, and that's a problem. The World Federation of Hemophilia estimates that the large majority of people with bleeding disorders worldwide are undiagnosed, undertreated, or both. In many countries across South Asia and Africa, a child with severe hemophilia or VWD type 3 may never end up being diagnosed, and girls are the least likely to be diagnosed, because "heavy bleeding" in women is dismissed almost everywhere. This can lead to serious issues, and the result can be fatal if it's not managed properly.

I have the exact same condition as some of those kids, and the only difference is that we live in different places. But that shouldn't determine our wellbeing. Our mission is to make sure there isn't much of a difference.

How we help (through people who know what they're doing)

For now, since we're a small project, we will be raising awareness and money for established organizations that are doing proven work.

Beyond money

Hopefully, in the future, we will be able to not only help boys and young men, but also focus on mainly helping the girls and young women around the world who are struggling from their bleeding disorders, or heavy bleeding because they might not know they even have one.
